Kaka has admitted to having a difficult time in his first year in the Spanish capital...
Kaka has been the subject of much criticism this season after being unable to live up to the €65 million price tag Real Madrid spent to bring him to the Spanish capital. In a report by AS, the Brazilian revealed why the move from Milan to Madrid has seen a dip in form and also explained that he was on the path to returning as the player that won the Ballon D"Or trophy.
"I arrived from Milan with a sports hernia and this delayed my adaptation. There were other factors like the new city, the club, and many other things, but the main reason was the injury. Furthermore, an injury cuts into one"s confidence and one can"t do things that one is accustomed to doing. That was very difficult, but I have recovered now and am on the right path."
Kaka also commented on the Twitter message sent out by his representative during the Champions League exit to Lyon in which he called coach Manuel Pellegrini "a coward" for substituting the Brazilian in the second half.
"When my representative wrote that, I was still on the pitch so it does not reflect what I was thinking. It was his opinion. Obviously, he is my public spokesperson, but I think he was expressing his opinion on his personal account as any fan would. Whatever the case may be, I don"t agree with what he said."
