Kaka is keeping his fingers crossed that Real Madrid do not come up against former club AC Milan in this season"s Champions League Final.
The Brazil star left Milan for Madrid in a £59million transfer last summer but has admitted he still has deep feelings for the Rossoneri.
Both Milan and Madrid must overcome first-leg deficits against Manchester United and Lyon respectively in order to progress to the last eight.
"I would prefer to play against a rival rather than a team that I still love like Milan," explained Kaka.
"It"s not easy playing against a former team. I have already played Milan twice. Now I am in a new situation and I am happy in Madrid. Therefore I would like to play our eternal rivals (Barcelona)."
Speaking about this year"s final which will take place at Madrid"s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, he added: "Not many teams can play the final in their own stadiums but Real Madrid have this chance.
"It"s a great chance for us and it will offer us plenty of motivation as we want to win a 10th Champions League."
